Portable art ...

I haven't been able to work in my studio for the past week so it's been a challenge to find something portable and small to work on. All my larger pieces that are in progress are safely packed up away from builders dust. I have been able to work on another small book which is ready for binding and have been making paper beads - a new obsession!

A bit of an experiment ...

Playing with ideas today - here is a lampshade I have made - hand and machine embroidery on a tissue paper base. It is all white - which doesn't show up well in these photos! Not bad for a first attempt, but I can see some adjustments I want to make ...
