My friends daughter has just had her first baby so I thought I'd welcome her with a very pink and girlie quilt!

Sunday morning stitching ...

There are three of us in the studio this morning. One of us is painting up a Picasso inspired face mask for a school project. One of us is designing monsters to stitch. And the third (me!) is quietly stitching on vintage paper.

The start of something new - three embroidered buttons. Silk base with free machine embroidery on scrim, enhanced with bullion and French knots.
