Heirloom cloth ...

It's finished. I am thrilled with how it's turned out. A result of Karen Ruane's Embroider, Embellish, Create course. All white and embroidery filled.

Vintage cloths sitting alongside new cloth. Prairie points, rouleaux loops and appliqué.

Secret pockets and hundreds of French knots.

Sketches from a photo album

I have been looking through an old photo album as part of my Alchemy studies - these are some sketches I made on tissue paper with pen and paint then stitched into a concertina book - an initial experiment...
